Ok, I need to publish my ebook under a pen name. I want it to be memorable, attractive, and successful-sounding, but not sound like a romance novelist. I am using IX web hosting, filezilla and Nvu or Dreamweaver and I can not seem to figure out how to create a hyperlink to an ebook that I wrote so it is on my computer, my hard drive only.

redistribution rights to it therefore I can sell it for whatever I

want and keep the profit. Of course if you put it for sale on

re-distributible ebooks like one on hibrid cars. I dont want to

I plan to self-publish a book I have written. Yes, I am aware of the difficulty this involves, and while I can try to get an agent and hopefully sell to a publisher, I prefer to handle all facets of my book personally.
Anyway, the book itself is finished. It is now in an ebook (pdf) format and is ready for release.
Do I still need to incorporate as my own publishing company, or could I do it with only my own name?

I would like to know what steps I need to take to create my own ebook for sale. Right now, I am interested in writing fiction. After I’ve finished the story/book, what steps do I need to take, and what are the cost to get it copy-righted, published, and promoted on the internet? What sites would you recommend, that would take me step by step through the process (keep in mind that I’m new to this)? What are the pros and cons to getting my work published in ebook format vs paperback/hardcover format. Please be as detailed with your answer as possible. Thank you

i want to write an ebook, and am in the middle of the actual writing. When I sell it i would like it to be uneditable, meaning that all the text on the page apears as a graphic so to speak, or a PDF, however you call it. Its something you see all the time. I dont know how to make my text apear like that so that when i publish the book people wont copy excerpts of text from it. Please help! thanks!

im thinking of writing an ebook containing inspirational quotations. Do i need permission from every publisher/writer? that is a mamoth task (if not impossible) if i have over 150 qoutes.What about quoting people who are dead?
Is there any way around this legal difficulty? what happens if I do quote others without their permission? how will they take me to court if it’s difficult to track me through ciber space?
