What is a PAD file for Ebooks?


I make Ebooks with desktop publisher…and tr to put them on Regnow…lately its not working properly..
People keep asking me for a Pad File Number for them to download the Ebooks direct..
What is that, where is it, and how can I produce an Ebook and set it somewhere to sell?????

I am not happy with Desktop publisher and Regnow..as the recent books are just not ebing approved and I cannot make them right…there must be another way..

    PAD stands for Portable Application Description it is designed to be used for software but could be used for ebooks as well. it was created by a developer and purchased by the Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP) a number of years ago. The ASP maintains the specification and provides it to developers free of charge. The PAD file for an application maintains relevant information related to the application, in the PAD format. Basically, PAD uses XML to store information related to a software application.
