What would you do with 3000 advanced mathematics ebooks?

I’m a computer repairman for Springer Verlag Publishers, So last week i received a computer for repair, and its hard disk was full with over 3000 advanced maths and physics ebooks……..

I searched some of their names on amazon and i found out they are the best math and physics books available in the market
they are in pdf format so i dont know hoe to sell them

What is the most efficient way to convert several hundred pages of printed text to an ebook?

I have a book only available in book form or as a standard manuscript that I would like to republish. I need to convert the text into some kind of computer saved document so I can publish an ebook or make the manuscript re printable. I’m looking for the most efficient way to do that. I do have a scanner.

What company has the greatest selling success with ebooks?

What company has (and uses) the greatest resources for selling an ebook on the internet. Can they actually provide their author proof of this? I recently published a book that I’m turning into an ebook and would like to make the best company choice. What has been your experience and what should I be looking for in this company. What are the main pitfalls?

Do I need permission to publish links to other websites in my eBook? Where can I find photos or pics?

I’d like to publish a resource section with links to other websites in my ebook, but I’m not sure if it is legal? Do I need to check with each one? Also, I think most photos and pictures on the web are copyrighted. Does anyone know any free or low cost websites with wedding related pictures? Thanks for your help!
