How do you format number cells while merging into Publisher from Excel?
While performing a mail merge into Microsoft Publisher (2007) from an Excel file (2007) I cannot figure out how to round the decimals to a whole number in Publisher. I have done this in the Excel source file that Publisher is pulling from, but when the numbers pull over in Publisher, they still give the decimal amount, instead of rounding up or down. Example, Publisher shows 4.117, instead of just 4.

How to find out if a publisher is legit?
I am an author of several childrens children’s novels. I have only had my short stories and poetry published and am having a difficult time getting an agent or publisher because as most people know it’s almost impossible these days. I found a publisher where I live in NM, and when I say very small it’s an understatement. The owner is the only person in the entire company. Is it possible to have such a small publishing company and still get books distributed properly? Is it possible that it is a scam?

What are your favorite books?
I’m looking for books to read, but I don’t have access to everything.
They need to be either-
Published before 1920
Something my college library would have. They only have books that are meant to be literature, they don’t have fluffy best sellers or young adult.
Or on the New York Public Library’s ebook site.

Can I send a cover letter to several publishers at once?
I am planning to contact some publishers in relation to a novel that I have written. Should I send a cover letter to one publisher at at time (i.e. write to one, and if it refuses, write to another) or to send out a batch of cover letters at once?
