What is more important to a publisher: your story (plot) or your writing?
I mean, what if my IDEA or my story is great, but my writing is average? Will the publisher help me out, or will they make me write a better story? I hope this doesn’t sound like a stupid question.

What are some good publishers dealing with titles based on self-learning technology/ electronics?
I’m doing a team business project for a college assignment. My group decided for a business idea, an electronics store. But not just any electronics store! The store will focus on not only selling electronics/ the latest bleeding edge technology/ entertainment. We also sell books that teach how to use the stuff! We’re making a sales chart. Are there any ebook readers that you can read pirated ebooks on?
I heard the Sony Reader has anti-piracy measures that prevent you from reading ebooks from torrent sites. I would be very much interested to know if there are other readers that don’t have such limitations. I am interested in a purely hypothetical capacity, obviously.
Just to clarify, not talking about software like Adobe or Foxit I mean an actual handheld electronic ebook reader.
