Good Ebook sites for Stephen King?
I’m thinking of buying a Cybook

I much prefer the design to the Kindle but I want to stock up on ebooks first, specifically some Stephen King books I’ve read and enjoyed in paperback form. Namely
Insomnia, Hearts in Atlantis, Nightmares and Dreamscapes and some others. I tried the Amazon site but they don’t sell ebooks except in their proprietary format and only for Kindles. I don’t mind paying as long as I can find a reasonably priced service that lets me download regular text or PDF files. I’ve tried a few ebook sites such as http://www.pdfchm.com, but couldn’t find anything, project Gutenburg is good but not for anything that’s not in the public domain. Can anyone help?

Instructions about how to visually designing a webpage?
I’m looking for a step-by-step-guide/tutorial/HOWTO/ebook/book about how to design the visual aspects of a webpage — e.g. the graphics — not so much about HTML, CSS, etc.
E.g. should I draw the whole webpage (banners, menu-bar, buttons,…) in PhotoShop, and then cut the graphical elements into pieces and use HTML and CSS to “stitch it back”… only now with parts of the design filled with actual text (from the HTML) and real ads and so on.
…Or is it better that I draw the elements one-by-one; one corner here, one corner there, a banner, a button…
In other words, how to practically design the purely graphical elements… Though of course tips on how to stitch it together, good vs. bad design and common “tricks” would be helpful too.
