Writing an ebook in Publisher, but photos are losing quality. Any advice?

I’m writing an ebook using Microsoft Publisher. For some reason all the photos don’t look as good as they should, just a tuny bit blurry. Any advice? Is this a known problem of publisher? Is there a better program I could be using to make an ebook?

If you right click on the picture and go to properties, you should be able to change the quality of the picture. I know you can compress the image there that is why it loses quality. Best of Luck.

a very good program for creating ebooks is EBooksWriter

it permits you to create “reflowable” text books, also (Publisher does not, Publisher is designed for the paper not for the video)
