How might I, an eighth grader, find publishers willing to work with someone my age?

If any of you know, how do you think I might find publishers willing to publish the work of an eighth-grader? Any sort of help is much appreciated!

Note– I don’t have a work ready for publication, for I do not want to waste time writing until there are better opprotunities for publication.
