How safe is it to have print outs of cracked versions of ebooks in developed countries?
My friend has cracked versions of ebooks (the books that you usually buy but can also download from internet for free from few sites). He wants to have their print outs. He is planning to take them as reference when he will visit Australia. I want to know whether it is safe for him to have them with him?
Are there chances that the airport authority will check his bags to know what is in there even if they are a few pages?
Will he get punished if they come to know of those print outs?

What difference does different publishers have on books?
For example, there is Emma by Jane Austen. There are Penguin, Bantem, Random House, Barnes & Noble, etc. Which is the “better” of the publishers? What makes the different ones stand out for Emma? I need to buy Emma for an english project, but the different publishing companies confuse me all the time. I appreciate you helping out ^__^ Thank you!

How to find out if a publisher is legit?
I am an author of several childrens children’s novels. I have only had my short stories and poetry published and am having a difficult time getting an agent or publisher because as most people know it’s almost impossible these days. I found a publisher where I live in NM, and when I say very small it’s an understatement. The owner is the only person in the entire company. Is it possible to have such a small publishing company and still get books distributed properly? Is it possible that it is a scam?

I need a page to sell one item. It is an ebook in word format?
My book is a scanned veterinary advisor that was published in 1904. I have searched copyright and found nothing. I have also searched the internet and found nothing about this very old and very useful technical book. I don’t want to create a website to sell one item. I want to install my book to the web and reference my books address in my sales material. If you can help, I would appreciate it very much. The site should be secure.

Do you buy eBooks, buy online or buy from brick and mortar stores?
My newly released young adult novel Gameplayer: The Genesis Portal (Helm Publishing ISBN 0977820556) is mainly sold online at sites such as amazon.com books,
target.com books and barnesandnoble.com .
I was recently contacting about selling Gameplayer as an eBook and I’m trying to decide.
