how to transfer and read html and pdf ebooks on iPod touch?
Please give me step-by-step instructions, including what apps I’d need to download (preferably free ones) in order to transfer the ebooks on a macbook to an iPod touch and read them. If there’s a way to bookmark, please tell me. And don’t tell me to buy ebooks from websites. If I already own an ebook, I’d like to read it. Plus it would be nice to rely on an app without wifi.

How safe is it to have print outs of cracked versions of ebooks in developed countries?
My friend has cracked versions of ebooks (the books that you usually buy but can also download from internet for free from few sites). He wants to have their print outs. He is planning to take them as reference when he will visit Australia. I want to know whether it is safe for him to have them with him?
Are there chances that the airport authority will check his bags to know what is in there even if they are a few pages?
Will he get punished if they come to know of those print outs?

Is book publishing dying out?
I have this friend, and we both write books that we want to publish; but he says that the book publishing industry has no future, that it’s slowly dying out. He told me that the only future I had in publishing my books is to publish them online only, because soon no one is going to be buying actual books, and ebooks on the internet will be the only way to read. I obviously don’t agree with him, I believe that there will always be books, because they contain something special that computers just don’t have. Which one of us is right? Is there success in the traditional publishing industry, or is it pointless to even try?
